AmberSat ISP provides direct satellite connectivity to the internet backbone. It was designed for serving ISPs in remote locations, underserved with terrestrial telecommunications infrastructure.

The service uses SES World Skies’ IPsys® platform which establishes a direct connection from the customer antenna to the internet backbone

AmberSat ISP’s main applications are:

  • Professional-level connectivity to the Internet backbone for ISPs (internet service providers)
  • Professional-level connectivity to the Internet backbone for heavy corporate users

How it works:

  • C.FOSTER installs an antenna at the customer’s site and connects it via satellite to one of the SES WORLD SKIES’ Teleports, establishing a direct connection to the world Internet backbone.

O cliente paga apenas pela CIR, que é garantida 100% do tempo, porém pode aumentar sua velocidade acima da CIR, de acordo com a ocupação do backbone da plataforma IPsys®.
  • The service is available in two possible configurations:
    • Two-way over satellite
    • One-way over satellite - with a downstream via C.FOSTER’s satellite service and the upstream through a terrestrial infrastructure contracted directly by the customer form its local carrier or even by the Ambersat IP service.
